Article I. Name and Purpose

The name of this organization is the OpenAI Club at The University of Texas at Dallas ("the Club"). The Club exists to build a student community for people curious about artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related technologies, open to every major.

Article II. Membership

Membership is open to all currently enrolled UT Dallas students who register with a valid UTD email, complete the membership application, and agree to the Club usage agreement and privacy policy. Officers may set attendance and participation expectations for active status.

Article III. Officers

The officer board leads the Club and is responsible for event planning, budget review, member administration, and record keeping. Officer roles, election procedures, and term limits are determined by the current officer board and documented in officer procedures.

Article IV. Meetings and Events

The Club holds regular meetings, workshops, project nights, and socials. Public events are open to any UT Dallas student unless otherwise noted. Members are encouraged to attend and participate.

Article V. Code of Conduct

Members and guests are expected to follow the UTD Student Code of Conduct, treat others with respect, and contribute to a welcoming learning environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior may result in loss of membership privileges.

Article VI. Amendments

These bylaws may be amended by a majority vote of the officer board. Amendments take effect after notice is provided to active members.
